FIAP proficare PHOSPHAT is powder form phosphate binder for ponds. Reduces algal growth, binds phosphates sustainably.
Powder form phosphate binder for ponds One of the main causes for algal growth is an increased phosphate content. Even phosphate levels below 0.035 mg / l can result in algae plague. There are numerous ways for phosphates to enter the water. All organic materials such as feed, feed remains, fish feces, leaves, fir needles, pollen, dead aquatic plants etc. contain phosphates, which are released in the decomposition process caused by microorganisms. Functional principle FIAP proficare PHOSPHATE binds phosphates in form of completely water-insoluble apatite. Its agents remain active for a period of approx. 6 weeks. Apatite is a natural rock of high phosphate content. The conditions present in ponds do not allow for phosphate redissolution. Evenly disperse FIAP proficare PHOSPHATE across the entire pond surface. We recommend avoiding directly exposing plants to the powder. While FIAP proficare PHOSPHATE is being applied, filters may remain in operation. In order to ensure a significant phosphate contact reduction to 0.035 mg / l, please do not remove FIAP proficare PHOSPHATE from the pond during the 6 – 8 weeks of its effectiveness.
