One of the main causes for algae growth is an increased phosphate content. A content of as little as 0.035 mg per liter can lead to an invasion of algae. In order to prevent rampant algae growth, dissolved phosphates in the water (essential nutrient of the algae) need to be bonded. FIAP premiumcare POND PHOS binds phosphates by forming completely water-insoluble apatite. For a perfect start into a pond season full of joy we recommend to apply FIAP premiumcare POND PHOS before, during and after the winter months as well as after every algae treatment.
