Dear fish farmers, pond keepers and fishermen,
We from FIAP have decided to design a small, own trade magazine with many products, innovations and further developments of the FIAP GmbH. There are probably not many industries that are as internationally oriented as aquaculture with its many hobby and production companies.

The targeted production of fish, shellfish, crabs, algae and other aquatic organisms in fresh or salt water is making an increasing contribution to the supply of seafood to the world's population.

Aquaculture is today the fastest growing area of food production. The range of production methods used in the rearing of around 500 species is extraordinarily wide. It ranges from extensively managed natural ponds, to floating net cages and gutter systems that operate in the flow, to highly intensive closed loop systems with intensive water treatment.
